Mijo! Brands, the marketing, communication and brand strategy agency, has launched an initiative heighten the profile of the sculptures on the Puerto Vallarta Malecon.
In order to promote art and culture to Puerto Vallarta residents as well as to improve the visitor experiences, the Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Municipal Tourism Office sought the advice of Mijo! Brands in providing information on the sculptures on the Malecon and other iconic structures in the city including the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the whale at the entrance of the Marina Vallarta and the new Los Muertos Pier.
On each sculpture, a decal will be placed with the name of the work, its artist, the year it was unveiled and a QR code that mobile device users can scan to access the official tourism website of Puerto Vallarta (http://www.visitpuertovallarta.com/) to find more details on the piece.
The decals concept was unveiled last Thursday, February 7th, 2013 at a press conference at 12:00 o'clock noon at The seahorse sculpture on the Puerto Vallarta Malecon hosted by Carlos Gerard, Director of the Municipal Tourism Office and Daniel Gomez, Managing Partner of Mijo! Brands.
For users who want to access additional sculpture and promotional information from their desktop computer, they may do so from this address: http://visitpuertovallarta.com/traveling/landmarks/sculptures-on-the-puerto-vallarta-malecon/.
