The meaning behind our symbolic name is directly linked to our vision as a company. Our founder’s grandmother called him “Mijo”, thus, these four letters illustrate the spirit that motivated the creation of this agency: the maintenance of the awareness of our roots, while consistently compiling an understanding of global trends with an eye to the future.

José Alberto Rosas

Digital Strategist

Jose Alberto Rosas is a Digital Strategist at Mijo! Brands. Graduating from the Social Communication program at the Autonomous Metropolitan University in 2012, he began a self-taught career in Digital Marketing.

Currently, with more than 10 years of experience in this field and with certification in Google Ads and extensive experience in SEO, brand positioning and lead generation are his main professional objectives.

“Make it simple but meaningful”, the Don Draper quote that he always keeps in mind.

He is a proud father of a family, a fan of jazz, Quentin Tarantino cinema, and the Cincinnati Bengals (since the era of Boomer Esiason).

Alexis Luna

Web Developer

Alexis Luna is a Web Developer at Mijo! Brands and graduate of the Computer Engineering faculty at UdeG. Motivated by an energetic curiosity, he dove into the world of technology at the young age of 12. He explored and experimented in different areas until he stumbled upon programming and experienced his first epiphany: developing is his future.

Alex is passionate about open source, Linux, and alternatives to proprietary software. He communicates best in parser (Python) and well-versed in JavaScript and PHP. In his spare time, he keeps busy learning and acquiring new skills, as reading Fantasy and Horror novels and listening to Rock and Ska. He is a full-time “father” of 5 cats.

Andrea Herrera is Senior Digital Strategist at Mijo! Brands. She has a BA in Communication and Journalism from the Máxima Casa de Estudios, UNAM. She has dedicated her ten-year experience in digital marketing to transforming two of her favorite activities – speaking and writing – into opportunities that create links between brands and consumers.

From the development of content and paid media strategies, information architecture, to copywriting and analysis of results, she is committed to the value that digital efforts bring to the lives of users.

Andrea devotes her free time to her true passion: singing and translating & adapting choral compositions; she also organizes choir festivals and concerts and, of course, sings from the heart.

Daniel Birge is English Editor at Mijo! Brands. He studied Business (Economics) at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal. After the pandemic, Daniel decided to move to Mexico in pursuit of his Mexican roots and learn more about the country and become closer to his family.

He has a passion for the arts including music and writing and he hope to one day write his own film. Daniel played sports for all of his life including Hockey and soccer and enjoy being active, going on hikes, swimming and casual sports.

He never thinks too far ahead, nor too far behind. Daniel hopes to travel the world while having his youth and experience the beauty of what people and the world have to offer.

Working for Mijo! Brands, has already taught him about what it means to work in a professional environment and interacting with workplace team members more consistently, improving communication and building relationships with the people he works with.

Daniel is looking forward to learning some more and absorbing whatever comes next.

Luis Daniel Canales is a Graphic Designer from the Coastal University Center of the University of Guadalajara, and has extensive experience in the implementation and development of creative concepts for brands, ranging from excessive attention to detail and absolute pragmatism. He believes that today’s society has reached a high point in videogames, so he does not hesitate to dedicate himself to sessions of up to 14 hours when work permits.

Brand Strategist and Director of Mijo! Brands in Mexico City. In 2007, he received his MBA from the LSBU in London, England where he specialized in innovation. That same year, Daniel returned to Mexico to put into practice what he learned abroad in combination with his love for Mexico to create a new model of creative digital agency. He highlights his ability to maintain a wide frame of vision to connect different phases of any process and deliver innovative solutions for brands in multiple sectors. Passionate about travel and food, he understands that changing your environment from time to time gives you another set of eyes and widens your senses to pick up subtle differences, which is the key to uniqueness. His free time is split between being spent with his boxer, “Sofi”, and training to finish the CDMX marathon in less than 4.5 hours.

Erik is a web developer by day, and a summoner on Summoner’s Rift by night. When he’s not destroying noobs and flaming his teammates while playing League of Legends, you can find him hard at work increasing the world’s awesomeness one line of code at a time. He sees web development as a modern form of art, where each pixel has its own purpose and meaning to the whole that is the website. As a fan of beautifully designed API’s, he always seeks to make the cleanest and most legible backend possible to the point where a variable can become your whole website. In the words of Eric: “Arrays, variables and objects are a weapon of mass construction placed into the right hands”.

Jorge Domínguez

Creative Director

Jorge Domínguez Thomas is Creative Director at Mijo! Brands. He is a lifelong creative and has been fortunate to collaborate with national and transnational brands in different disciplines, from mass advertising, direct marketing, and now, in the dynamic digital realm.

He has received different awards and recognitions, most notably, as David Ogilvy would say, “making customers’ cash register ring.”
Jorge has an innate ability to interpret creative briefs and develop creative concepts that impact brands and their customers.

A proud and doting father and partner, Jorge is a passionate foodie, budding sommelier, an enthusiastic tennis player, and an admitted fashionista, because he believes, “to be, you have to project.”

You will always find him immersed in a variety of projects that challenge his portfolio of brands to generate memorable moments.

He studied at the University Center for Art, Architecture and Design (CUAAD) at the University of Guadalajara. His passion for graphic design only equals his passion for coffee. He is known by his designer name “Tlacuilo-man” (tlacuilo: the one who speaks by painting). 

He is eclectic in every wayfrom his design to his musical tastes. In addition to being a designer, he is an organic coffee roaster and if he’s not at his computeryou’ll find him experimenting with some type of roasting. He loves spending time with his familyincluding playing tea with his daughter.

Community Manager

Raised between two countries and eight cities, Natalia is passionate about the nomadic lifestyle. Exploring different cultures, religions, and ways of thinking has always interested her. She studied International Trade and Customs at the Xochicalco University, Tijuana campus, and obtained a degree in Business Administration from the San Antonio de Murcia Catholic University (UCAM).

With these credentials, she began her career in large multinational corporations to learn the ropes. However, a couple of graduates in Graphic Design and Video Postproduction at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), helped her discover that her true passion was in communication, and since then, has never looked back. In recent years, her vocation has been to help companies scale their businesses through digital marketing.

In her free time, you can find her enjoying concerts, restaurants, museums, sports or better yet, maybe you won’t find her, because she’s off traveling the world once again…
