Assignmint
is a web-based platform to list freelancing work for employers and help writers
find the right freelance job for them and standardizes the paperwork between
the two parties.
It was
launched in April 2012 and became usable as a public beta in June 2012. The
secure system is accessible online at any time and from any place, enabling
writers and editors alike to manage their work schedules with speed, efficiency
and ease.
Assignmint offers free accounts to individual writers and editors and a premium
subscription for editorial teams which provides access to a menu of extra
features.
The
intuitive dashboard enables writers to search through a directory of more than
15,000 newspapers, magazines, print outlets and blogs, which continues to grow.
Publishers can add their publications to the directory.
There is
also a blog offering advice to freelancers and the company hopes to open
Assignmint to other freelance professionals such as academics and photojournalists
in the future.
Assignmint
accounts are open to freelancers around the globe, so writers and editors can
benefit from this excellent resource too.
Probably an
invoice will be processed if you don't already have an Assignmint account. Freelance
writers and editors eager to experience slick and streamlined processing should
sign-up to see just how effectively Assignmint boosts efficiency for both sides
of the editorial desk.
