Doritos has recently launched a new image worldwide, which true to their irreverent and youthful style, integrates a modern triangle graphic designed to reflect the strength, personalityand energy of the brand.
The Doritos makeover is in response to the increasingly complicated preferences and tastes of young people, helping the brand stay relevant in the youth market.
The new look for Doritos has premiered in Mexico before being launched world-wide.
To promote the new logo, Doritos is betting on a digital marketing campaign that includes social networking and videos to create a direct dialogue with consumers.
Enrique Granados, Doritos Marketing Director, said that the campaign is innovative and fresh to target their audience. He also stated that the concept strategy revolves around “memes” (ironic and funny graphic elements created with the intent to go viral).
