Surveys on Twitter

For brands, it will always be extremely useful to have access to information first-hand that generates customers and followers in social networks. Under this premise, Twitter recently launched the application “Twitter Polls”, allowing instant results.

To create a survey, you only need to write the question as if it were a normal tweet and to click the icon “poll” below. In this way, you can place a couple of options that allow you to know the perception of users.

Obviously, these surveys will be visible to users who drafted them and they may continue the conversation that is generated, gradually seeing the results of it. The survey will be active 24 hours and responses of those who answered will not be made public.

No doubt this is great news for brands that have a strong presence in this network, since this mechanism of interaction lets you instantly know the opinion and preference over the brand as well as products and services provided or promoted.

As part of trends in social media, this application is in addition to “Moments”, a tool that seeks to highlight the most important content on Twitter and makes navigation easier for the user.

Fortunately, from now on we can be relieved of those surveys such as: RT if pizza, FAV if spaghetti.

Have you already used this application? How has it worked out for you? Leave your comments below.
