Dead Space: The Reinvention of the Video Game Horror Genre

An unforgettable game that revived an entire genre and gave new impetus to an entire industry… For free?

There is nothing like enjoying a good game after work. If you're relaxing and entertained by one of the best games currently available, then things couldn't be better, right? Except that there's always room for improvement.

We're talking about Dead Space, published by Electronic Arts and developed by Visceral Games in 2008. This production breathed life into the dying genre of horror games and brought forth concepts not seen before in the industry.

Besides being big fans of this game at Mijo! Brands, we were super excited to hear that Electronic Arts decided to give this game away for free until May 8th, 2014.

The bad news is that to download, you have to have Origin, the online store created by EA to compete against Valve's Steam, installed (although to get the promotion, it's totally worth the install).

Want to take advantage and have fun freaking out to the horror of being alone in space? Go here to download it.

Check out Dead Space and leave your comments and tips about the game.
