What does people do while they use social networks?

According to a recent study realized by Ericsson Company 62% of the people who watch the TV do it while they are connected to a social network.

The difference between men and women is relatively significant.69% of the women compared with 55% of the men. What it is remarkable is that men comment more while they are watching the TV.

This behavior is explained because men are used to give their opinion in a sports match, while women usually only read what others comment. These numbers represent an increase of 18% from last year to the people who realize any other activity while using social networks.

The tendency of using social networks while doing something else is a reaction to the necessity of the belonging feeling, as well as a search for different opinions.

In the last years the TV was a form of communication that didn’t allow feedback, but with the development of social networks, the users are now able to share opinions and analyze the information that they’re receiving at the same time they are receiving it.

The date from the study was gathered from users from the US, UK, China, Spain, Taiwan, Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, Chile, Italy and Germany.
