Mijo! Brands, the marketing, communication and brand positioning agency, is working on the planning, logistics and development of an ambitious social experiment called “Caras de México”.

With Mexican Independence Day just around the corner it feels like an appropriate time for “Caras de México” an exciting social experiment conducted by Mijo! Brands to begin.

This project aims to share the feelings of the people of Mexico, a fractured country with a great legacy and an uncertain future composed of Mexican Indians, mestizos, and foreign-born Mexicans who have repatriated to the country of their ancestors, and foreigners who for a multitude of reasons have left their country in preference of Mexico.

The first phase of this ambitious project is to interview 16 Mexicans who are part of those groups to talk about their feelings about Mexico in the local newspaper Vallarta Opina and on the website http://en.carasdemexico.org which has been developed especially for this project.

Throughout the month of September, Mijo! Brands in conjunction with the City of Puerto Vallarta, Galerias Vallarta, Vallarta Opina, Plaza Caracol, Grupo ACIR and several photographers and artists will hold several events throughout our destination.

This is a real opportunity to get involved in a national dialogue and discover our country through the “Faces of Mexico“.
