Working in the Cloud

As a fan of Apple, I could not pass up the opportunity to talk about Apple’s new service that has everyone intrigued and puzzled. I refer to iCloud.

iCloud is a service of automatic synchronization for all Apple devices. Thus, if I download a song on my iPhone, I will also have available on my iPad and my Mac, instantly.

Note that this is not specifically a storage service so any changes to files we have in our IOS devices that are not saved will be deleted after 30 days.

With iCloud there is 5 GB offered for free and you can buy more storage for an annual fee that varies depending on size.

With the launch of iCloud, Apple has again shown innovation beyond Google and Amazon by offering a truly exceptional service.

iCloud advantages: • There are backup of files (called backup), that in the event that your computer or device is damaged, all files will be synchronized by iCloud so you don’t lose any data. • You can play music files from any device, it is not necessary for them to be hosted in each device. This service allows you to download temporarily (streaming).

To use this service, you must meet the following requirements: • Mobile Devices: iPhone and iPad with iOS 5 • Computer: Mac OS X 10.7.2

In short iCloud stores your music, your photos, documents and send them wirelessly to all your Apple devices. Automatic, effortless and flawless.

Have you tried this new service from Apple?
