I am Vallarta, I am PanAmericano: Campaign launch

At a press conference held at El Dorado restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, the Secretary for Economic Development of the State of Jalisco, Alonso Ulloa Velez together with Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz, Mayor of Puerto Vallarta confirmed that Mijo! Brands would be creating a 3 month advertising campaign “I am Vallarta, I am PanAmerican,” to promote the PanAmerican Games in the region.

The campaign’s main objective is to inform Vallarta residents of PanAmerican sporting events taking place here in Puerto Vallarta, further establishing the city as an important tourism destination.

Puerto Vallarta’s Mayor, Salvador González Reséndiz and Alonso Ulloa Velez, Director of Jalisco’s Economy Promotion department recently announced this publicity campaign in an effort to substantiate Vallarta as a key to the PanAmerican Games’ success. “I am Vallarta, I am PanAmerican” will feature a series of activities throughout the city, including shopping centers, schools and public plazas.

Likewise, the objective of “I am Vallarta, I am PanAmerican” lies in promoting the different sporting events during the games in Puerto Vallarta; and to generate a feeling of belonging for those who live in the city.

Puerto Vallarta will be hosting four sport categories: beach volleyball, open water swimming, sailing and the triathlon.

I am Vallarta, I am PanAmerican” will run for three months. Promoters have begun distributing promotional items including  print-outs, canvases, stickers, flyers and news bulletins.
