Mijo! Brands, the brand and web strategy consultancy, has been working with SQ Wellness for the nearly three years since Mijo! opened its doors in September of 2007. Since then, the not-for-profit organization has been working double time to develop a variety of wellness and spiritual modalities to encourage society to give back to communities in need around the world.
SQ Wellness, is perhaps the largest organization within the group, it and its sister organizations were set up to promote the ideal of service to a higher collective consciousness in whatever form it may take – and thus promote action in our daily lives to create lasting change in local communities.
SQ focuses on mediating an open discourse for positive change in society on a grass roots and global level starting with the individual. Its sister organizations include SQ Retreats and SQ Foundation. Retreats is made up of a small, if growing, number of retreats in Ireland and the US where novice and spiritual practitioners can participate in single-day or week- long seminars. Events include discourses on all ancient spiritual teachings, applying practical spirituality in today´s society and a variety of healing modalities, along with wellness classes including yoga and meditation. There are plans afoot to offer corporate events such as team building and promote corporate philanthropy in the near future.
All proceeds from the non denominational SQ Wellness and SQ Retreats are channeled to the SQ Foundation which has a long history of global philanthropy and activism in housing, health and education. The SQ Foundation provides education and medicine to remote villages and has built schools, orphanages and hospitals and set up clean water programs along with animal rescue efforts in afar a field as El Salvador, India, Peru, Scotland and the US.
The foundation offers concerned citizens and volunteers support in organization within their local communities to create lasting change by offering initiative planning support, grant applications and access to committed and growing network of members around the world.
Mijo! Brands, based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico redesigned the brand ID for the three organizations working remotely with their teams in Ireland, New York, Calgary and California. The creative brand design was based on SQ´s business and brand strategies and long term growth targets. Once the design and web templates were approved, Mijo! Programmed the three distinct web sites using Mijo! Brands proprietary content management system.
