Mijo! Brands feels the gold rush with UPD Media in Canada and the US

Mijo Brands,the brand and web strategy consultancy, is proud to announce its strategic alliance with UPD Media head quartered in Las Vegas. UPD media is a strategic web development and hosting-solutions company with an impressive of multinational clients across Canada and the US.

UPD Media approached Mijo! Brands to participate in the redevelopment of the back end of a UPD client, Goldsilver.com, after seeing many of Mijo!´s brand development clients around Puerto Vallarta.

“I travel to Vallarta frequently to get away from the pace of the big city and I noticed Mijo! Brands brand designs and ad campaigns everywhere I looked. Their creativity and their commitment to collaboration was evident from the get go. Goldsilver.com is one of the fastest growing gold and silver online trading companiesheaded by Mike Mahoney.

Since its launch in 2006, goldsilver.com has quickly become the largest independent gold and silver trader in the US. The company is working with UPD Media and Mijo! Brands to redevelop the public facing portion of the website and the member´s sections of the site as it prepares to launch in Spanish to serve the important Hispanic community in the US and of course Latin America.

“Out sourcing and Off shoring the majority of web programming and some of the design to Mijo! Brands simply made sense. They offer a quality product at a very competitive price when compared to US and Canadian agencies. We are working with agencies in 5 countries as part of the redevelopment of the goldsilver.com portal, Mijo!´s experience in backend programming and outstanding design made the decision an easy one.” Continues Hammond.

Mijo! Brands has 3 full time programmers working to recode the original website and enhance all functionality to the internationally recognized WC3 Consortia standards. The website redesign and programming will be followed by intensive testing. The supporting campaign will be launched in English, Spanish and Mandarin over the coming months, while the relationship with Goldsilver.com looks set to continue well into 2012.
