Each year, Mexico works on implementing a culture of gender equality which, although there remains much to be done, is gradually being reflected more and more in the professionals and independent women in companies in Mexico’s larger companies as well as higher ranking jobs in the government.
To commemorate International Women's Day, Merca2.0 conducted a study that shows a list of the best paid jobs for women in Mexico:
1. Director of Marketing 41.30% of women with this position have a salary averaging $132,000 pesos a month.
2. Director of Public Relations Nearly 40% of women who have this position receives approximately $121,000 pesos salary per month.
3. Director of Strategic Planning The average salary for professionals who perform this work is $93,000 pesos and 32% of all people who have this profession are women.
4. Director of Customer Services Of all the professionals who occupy this post, 58.8% are women and receive an average monthly salary amounting to $88,000 pesos.
5. Area Director The professionals who perform this work receive a monthly salary of approximately $83,000 pesos and 30.2% of Area Managers are women.
